Please contact us on 01354 661922 or book online (registration is required to use our online services). Please note that we reserve some appointments for face to face and telephone bookings to ensure that patients without internet access are not disadvantaged.

Subject to availability the following types of appointment are available:

  • Book in advance up to 6 weeks ahead by telephone or online
  • Book in advance up to 5 days ahead by telephone or online
  • Book on the day by telephone or online for more urgent problems
  • Emergency contraception, please contact us immediately.

Consultations with the doctors, practice nurses and attached health professionals are by appointment only. Appointments can be made by telephoning the surgery, calling at the surgery in person or online.

Appointments are for 10 minutes and for one person and one problem only.

Urgent Problems

If you need to be seen urgently, it is helpful if you can tell the receptionist what the problem is so that you can be fitted in appropriately. If the doctor refers you for an outpatient appointment this may be booked using the ‘Choose and Book’ service. The appointment may be booked or requested before you leave the surgery at a hospital of your choice or the secretary will contact you later to sort the appointment out.

Telephone Consultations/Advice

Some problems can be dealt with over the telephone. If you want to speak to your doctor, please phone the practice reception. Arrangements will be made for you to speak to your doctor or arrange for your doctor to phone you back.

Chaperones are available for all consultations, please just ask the clinician.

If you cannot keep an appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so that the appointment can be offered to another patient. A wasted appointment means a longer wait for others.
